The Cascades Amateur Radio Society (CARS) is a volunteer organization of amateur radio operators in Jackson County Michigan.  The club has a long history of public service and promoting amateur radio, participating in field day activities, conventions and public events such as the Civil War Muster, the Hot Air Jubilee, and local parades.

Meetings are held using the Bluejeans conferencing system. An invitation will be sent to the W8JXN mailing list.

During the current National Health Emergency, please take care of yourself and your loved ones, in an abundance of caution, we have suspended all in person activities.  However, playing RADIO is the original social distancing activity!  We have found a large group of new Amateur Radio Operators coming on the air waves over the last year, and we are excited to help you grow and learn more.

While we will not be providing in person testing, we recommend the online study https://hamstudy.org/, and online testing available https://hamstudy.org/sessions.
