FCC Unveils New Logo

Earlier this year (2020) the FCC unveiled its new logo, illustrated in the lower photo. The previous logo is shown above it. The new seal was the winner in an agency-wide contest among commission employees and contractors. The FCC said the logo reflects a number of preferred concepts.

The four stars on the outer seal draw on the legacy of the original seal. The eighteen stars on the shield recognize the current number of bureausĀ and offices. The eagle and shield identify the agency as an agency of the federal government.
