Sunshine Net of August 23, 2020

In tonight’s Sunshine net we had 13 licensed amateur check ins. These included myself (N8QM, N8HLC Harland, WB8ICN Mike, WD8IGK Scott, W3IGT Dave (our resident geologist, retired), NK8L Leo, KA8VLN Dick, K8TS Dale, KE8NBV Jeremiah, N8CDK Mark, KD8AAD Bill, N8IUM John, and our late checking K8LEC Lars.

Of particular interest on this net was a discussion of a fellow ham operator who had a stroke and needs some help getting his rig rolling for 80 and 75 meters. He lives in Parma on Old County Farm road and has a FT101e with a SB200 amp and Heathkit tuner. This information came to us from the ARRL.
