It has been a long standing practice for some of the CARS members to meet Friday evenings for dinner at the Alfa Coney restaurant at the Jackson Crossing Mall. This Friday, the 18th, was no exception. But this meeting was unique in that it will serve as…the Last Supper for CARS members with Steve, KD8HIW. Steve is leaving the area for Arizona for a year on a job assignment. We do hope, however, that he will avail himself some Thursday evenings showing up for the CARS net on the 146.88 MHz repeater once EchoLink has become operational. We will all miss Steve greatly and look forward to his return next year.
