Please make sure you attend the December club meeting. We will be taking nominations for club officers for 2022. Also there will be some motions on the table regarding organization of the club:
Change #1. Consolidate the position of President and Vice President into ‘Director’. This person would run the meetings, lead the club and be the coordinator for presentations.
Change #2: Consolidate the position of Secretary and Treasurer into ‘Secretary’ or ‘Treasurer’. This person would handle the administrative duties and finances, and assist with coordinating presentations for the meetings.
Change #3: Scrap term limits.
Change #4: We would have two trustees, one of whom must have access to our club’s bank accounts (in addition to our club secretary/treasurer) for accountability.
Change #5 Change the term of an elected officer from one to two years.
Club leadership is important to our future. I think it would be great if we had multiple nominations for each club office and a ready bench of people to lead activities.
