Michigan Ave., Jackson, Mich. 49203<\/p>\n<p>Two forms of identification, one with a photo, are required.<\/p>\n<p>You can bring a calculator, a pen and\/or #2 pencil. If you have a smartphone, you must turn it off during the time you are taking a test. Scrap paper will be provided.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><strong><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">FRN (FCC Registration Number) Required:\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>The FCC is now requiring applicants to enter their FRN on the form 605.\u00a0\u00a0Using a social security number is no longer accepted.\u00a0 An FRN can be obtained by going to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fcc.gov\/uls\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">www.fcc.gov\/uls<\/a> and click on &#8220;New Users Register&#8221; at the top of the page and follow the instructions.\u00a0 Applicants without an FRN will NOT be able to take an exam. Obtaining an FRN is quick and painless.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>The VE team will work with applicants to help them obtain an FRN if possible.
